Children’s Ministry

Scripture stresses the importance of passing the knowledge of the Lord from generation to generation, by teaching our children God’s word, introducing them to Jesus Christ and modeling an authentic relationship with God. Parents are privileged to hold the primary responsibility for this task. TCC’s Children’s Ministry is designed to support parents and work in concert with them to provide godly instruction for the children in our community.

Our goal is to provide a solid foundation of biblical knowledge, as an invaluable resource they can draw from throughout their lives. Toward that end, our curriculum is biblically based and oriented to a systematic study of Scripture that is age appropriate. We are also committed to incorporating our children into the broader life of the congregation, providing opportunities for intergenerational interaction and relationships by which they can experience Christ’s love, be mentored and come to understand themselves as a vital part of the body of Christ.

Child care and classes are available for all ages, infant through the fifth grade.

The program includes:

Tiny Treasures

Nursery & Toddler Services (Walking)

At TCC, we prioritize the safety and well-being of your little ones. Our Nursery & Toddler room provides a secure and nurturing environment where infants receive care and play during Sunday worship.

  • Screened Volunteers: Our team consists of thoroughly vetted volunteers to ensure the highest level of safety and care.
  • Secured Environment: The nursery is equipped with a visible window to the sermon, allowing parents to stay connected while their children are cared for.
  • Routine Sanitization: We maintain a clean and hygienic space with regular sanitization practices.

Bible Explorers

At TCC, our Sunday Preschool program is designed to engage young children in a fun and educational environment. Each week, children will explore a story from the Bible through play, storytelling, music, and interaction. Our program is structured to enhance the learning experience and foster friendships by grouping children by grades (PreK & K – 2nd Grade).

  • Interactive Learning: Children learn through play, storytelling, music, and interaction.
  • Age-Appropriate Grouping: Young children are grouped by grades to enhance their learning experience and build friendships.
  • Year-Round Events: TCC Children’s Ministry hosts various events throughout the year, including Easter Egg Hunt, Summer Picnic, Fall Fest, and more!

Faith Explorers

At TCC, our Sunday Youth Ministry for 3rd to 6th graders is designed to engage young minds in deeper discussions and meaningful learning experiences. Our program focuses on helping youth develop a profound understanding of the Bible and its relevance to their lives.

  • In-Depth Bible Studies: Youth delve into both the Old and New Testaments, exploring key stories and teachings that shape their faith.
  • Interactive Discussions: Our sessions encourage open dialogue and thoughtful discussions, allowing youth to ask questions and share their insights.
  • Unique Learning Experiences: We incorporate a variety of activities, such as hands-on projects, multimedia presentations, and group exercises, to make learning engaging and memorable.
  • Application to Daily Life: We emphasize how biblical principles can be applied to everyday situations, helping youth navigate their personal and spiritual growth.
  • Community and Fellowship: Youth build strong friendships and a sense of community through group activities, service projects, and social events.

Children's Choir

As we nurture the next generation, we warmly invite children to join our kids choir and participate in worship through song. Before the children’s chapel on most Sundays, our young singers rehearse a song, often incorporating motions, to share with the congregation. Our kids choir will perform approximately 3-4 times a year during the worship service.

Kingdom Seekers

Our Teen Ministry (6th – 12th) is in the exciting process of development, aiming to create a vibrant and supportive community for teenagers to grow in their faith, build meaningful relationships, and engage in impactful activities.
