Scripture stresses the importance of passing the knowledge of the Lord from generation to generation, by teaching our children God’s word, introducing them to Jesus Christ and modeling an authentic relationship with God. Parents are privileged to hold the primary responsibility for this task. TCC’s Children’s Ministry is designed to support parents and work in concert with them to provide godly instruction for the children in our community.
Our goal is to provide a solid foundation of biblical knowledge, as an invaluable resource they can draw from throughout their lives. Toward that end, our curriculum is biblically based and oriented to a systematic study of Scripture that is age appropriate. We are also committed to incorporating our children into the broader life of the congregation, providing opportunities for intergenerational interaction and relationships by which they can experience Christ’s love, be mentored and come to understand themselves as a vital part of the body of Christ.
Child care and classes are available for all ages, infant through the fifth grade.
NURSERY
The nursery is available for mothers with infants to have a quiet place to go, but still be a part of the service. The nursery is located directly behind the Sanctuary and provides sound/visual access to the worship service.
TODDLERS
The toddler room is staffed by volunteer church members for children who are walking up to age four during the 10:30 A.M. Sunday Worship Service. The Toddler Room is located off the Fellowship Hall.
