“Go tell it on the mountain, over the hills and everywhere; go tell it on the mountain that Jesus Christ is born.” These words written by John W. Work Jr. need to be reiterated again and again in a world that has almost forgotten the true meaning of Christmas. Christmas is not just a celebration of another birthday, but the celebration of the birth of the Savior of the world, King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.
As we approach the Christmas season, once again, may we reflect on the importance of this great event and what has been accomplished for all believers. Without Christ’s incarnation, gathering together would be meaningless. At Troy Christian Chapel, we applaud this event and rejoice as we worship together commemorating Christ’s coming.
My wife, Judy, and I wish each and every one a very merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. We appreciate your fellowship and friendship and always encourage you to worship the one who puts meaning into Christmas, Jesus Christ. Go tell everyone that they also may have an opportunity to rejoice with us. Once again we hope your Christmas may be wonderful.
