Merry Christmas beloved! Year after year when this season comes around again, I am reminded of how blessed my family is to call this body of believers our home. You have blessed us in so many ways over the years. We are so grateful for your love, generosity and friendship. Your love shows us the love of God!
The pastor of the church I went to as a teen used to say that Christmas was a “season of the soul” when people were more open to hearing the gospel. Our love is what makes this holiday season a season of the soul—our love for one another and our love for the lost. That agape love will be used of God to open doors for us to share the gospel of His saving grace. May we, in this season, love and live like Jesus, speaking the gospel without pollution or compromise, giving without holding back, and loving without fear. May we, in this season of the soul, walk as Jesus walked—bringing His message, His way, to His world.
