It’s hard to believe that another year has come and gone and so many things have transpired to us as a congregation that we feel have made us stronger as a family. We take this special time of the year to express our love and gratitude to our church family for another year of faithfulness. Your prayers, friendship and encouragement have inspired us throughout the year.
This Christmas, as we rejoice and celebrate the coming of Jesus Christ to this earth, let us continue to spread the peace that Christ brought to mankind 2,000 years ago. May we take advantage of what freedom we still have in our country. Hebrews 13:3 tells us, “Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body.” These things are already being experienced by believers. We reach out to them at this special time.
We are all called by God to live as an expression of faith to our surrounding areas, that they may have an opportunity to come to faith as well. As we actively show our love to one another, we fulfill Christ’s commandment: “By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another” (John 13:35).
Merry Christmas to all.
